Cold drink:

Constant territory:
refers to financial results that have been adjusted to exclude the impact of acquisitions. Calculations assume all significant acquisitions made in 2002 were made at the beginning of 2002 and exclude all significant acquisitions made in 2003.
Direct store delivery:
distribution system by which products are sold, delivered and merchandised by PBG employees

Foodservice accounts:
outlets where consumers buy single-serve soft drinks for immediate consumption

Front line:
members of the PBG sales team who have face-to-face contact with customers

In-and-out product:
a product designed to be in market for a limited, defined time period

On-premise:
In the U.S., the term is synonymous with "foodservice" (see definition above). Internationally, it represents single-serve sales in "on-the-go" locations.
Out-of-stock:
products missing or absent anywhere along our supply chain

Product voids:
refers to products (or packages) that have not yet been sold to or are missing from a particular account

Segment:
outlets that are similar in size, and that buy, merchandise, and sell soft drinks in similar ways

Take-home:
unchilled products sold for at-home or future consumption

Up-sell:
to take the opportunity to sell something in addition to what was originally requested
