John L. Berisford is Senior Vice President of Human Resources for PBG. In this role, which he assumed in March 2005, Mr. Berisford is responsible for leading PBG’s global Human Resources Department, including Talent Management, Compensation & Benefits, Labor Relations, Diversity, and Corporate Communications.  Mr. Berisford joined Pepsi in 1988 in the Company's offices in Pittsburgh. He held a series of successive assignments both in the field and at Pepsi-Cola’s headquarters in staffing, labor relations and organizational capability. In 1995, he was named Director of Human Resources for the Company’s Heartland Business Unit. Mr. Berisford returned to headquarters in 1998 as Vice President of Organization Capability for PBG. He was appointed Vice President, Field Human Resources in 2001 and Group Vice President, Human Resources in 2004.

Mr. Berisford holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from West Liberty College in West Virginia and a Master of Science degree in labor and industrial relations from West Virginia University.
