About The Pepsi Bottling Group

The Pepsi Bottling Group is the world's largest manufacturer, seller and distributor of Pepsi-Cola beverages with operations in the United States, Mexico, Canada, Russia, Spain, Turkey and Greece.

PBG spun off from PepsiCo Inc. and was incorporated in Delaware on January 6, 1999.

PBG went public on March 31, 1999 at a price of $23.00 per share through one of the largest initial public offerings in the history of the New York Stock Exchange.

PepsiCo retains an equity interest in PBG of about 45 percent.

PBG's common stock split two-for-one on November 27, 2001.

PBG accounts for more than half of the Pepsi-Cola beverages sold in North America and about 40 percent of the Pepsi-Cola beverages worldwide.

PBG produces and sells more than 1.7 billion physical cases of beverages each year.

Pepsi-Cola Company, a division of PepsiCo, manufactures and sells beverage concentrate syrup and finished goods to PBG and other Pepsi-Cola bottlers. PepsiCo also provides new product development, advertising, marketing, sales and promotional support to PBG and other bottlers.
