Focus on the Future

We at PBG take pride in the tradition and innovation of our brands; the integrity and teamwork that define our culture; and the service and care we extend to our customers and communities. We call this commitment our Unquenchable Spirit and apply it to four areas of our workplace.

Leadership Development

PBG values leadership. Whether an employee starts out on the frontline or as a campus recruit, we invest significant resources and provide diverse opportunities to develop that individual’s capabilities. Our objective is to train and develop our top talent so they can build satisfying and rewarding careers.

Health & Wellness

Our goal is to build a culture of wellness that addresses the physical, emotional and financial health of our employees and their families. PBG’s HealthyLiving program offers services such as annual health risk assessments, weight control programs and a dedicated Nurseline, while our HealthyMoney program offers independent resources, including financial planning workshops, mortgage discounts and scholarship advice. A holistic approach to wellness — and the forces that affect it — promotes healthier futures for our people and PBG.

Diversity & Inclusion

We believe that being diverse is not just about representation and numbers. It’s about creating a more inclusive environment, where employees feel encouraged to express their individuality and contribute to the business. To us, diversity is defined broadly as any attribute that makes a person unique — race, religion, sexual orientation, gender or culture, to name a very few. Rather than approach diversity as a stand-alone program, we weave it into our employment practices, community outreach strategy and marketing plans so that it becomes a natural part of how we work.

Recognition & Appreciation

PBG employees operate in a fast-paced environment with a high dependency on teamwork. That’s why it’s important to appreciate everyday efforts and recognize exceptional performance. In 2008, we held our first Employee Appreciation Week across North America, and relaunched our corporate magazine, now entitled Thirst! Celebrating PBG People’s Unquenchable Spirit, to share knowledge and best practices and spotlight those who go above and beyond. As PBG grows, the demands we face will likely expand as well, making recognition and appreciation that much more important to sustaining our culture of respect, teamwork and Unquenchable Spirit.
